Our Holiday

Our Holiday....was wonderful! It was spent with all of our loved ones. I don't think I could have asked for more.

My parents have been divorced for quite some time now and I had asked them both if it were OK to plan a family Christmas party involving both of them and there spouses, they all agreed! I was so nervous for how it would turn out but it was great, better than I expected and I now have some new memories that I will cherish. We had a family favorite...Green Chile (my sister made it and it was so yummy!) along with some other yummy dishes. We opened presents and sang to my dear step-mom.She loved it and so did we. We sang almost all the Christmas songs in the hymnal and some more traditional ones as well and silly me I cried through all of it(so did Carol(my step mother):)it has always touched my heart so strongly when singing. It has become such a comfort over the years to have those fond memories of us singing together.

One of my favorite things about being a part of the fuller family is all their traditions! I look forward to Christmas with the Fuller's every year. We have a Christmas Eve party where we exchange gag gifts and open new pajamas for Christmas morning. Then Christmas morning we all have breakfast after we have had our own Christmas morning. Then there is lunch and more gifts. We visit while the kids play or fight;) and pretty much just veg out the rest of the day.

The pictures are of my kids playing in the leaf pile at my family party and they got to see Santa :)

A Few Pictures For The Season

Our fake tree!! I was not always fond of the fakeness of it but I have grown to love it for the simple fact that we get to put it up every year on Thanksgiving night :) The earlier the season starts the better!!
This beautiful Nativity Scene was hand carved out of Olive Wood in Israel. It belonged to my Grandma she bought it quite some time ago when she got to go on a trip there. I am very excited and honored that my Mom chose me to have it :)

When is the little guy gonna catch a break?? To add to that I have a cold...of some sort, nothing severe but Ryan is sick again as well he has cold like symptoms +! I hope this ends soon cause I am ready for the season to begin and being sick or taking care of little sickos ;) is no way to start off the holidays! We as well will do our part not to spread any of our germs.Hope everyone stays well!! Good luck!!

Happy Halloween!!

Well, Over the weekend Austin caught some virus in his mouth that makes kids scream nonstop for the first 3 days and nights and they get some rash on their body. Let me just say I don't wish this on anybody the virus or the having to care for a child that has it! I felt horrible to find out that Wendy's(my sis-n-law) little boy Will has it :(. Aside from that we somewhat enjoyed the ward Trunk-o treat , Austin didn't wear his costume and there was just no way to force him to. He may not even be trick-or-treating tonight either.: ( It makes me sad because he is just so dang cute as a Shark. That picture is not the best but it was the longest he has been in the costume so I am still crossing my fingers for tonight :) Brooklyn is just the cutest fishy I have ever seen!! She has been so excited all month to tell people she is a fish for Halloween. We also got to carve pumpkins 2 times this year and the kids got to make and decorate Halloween cookies. Well, we hope to see people out tonight having a good and safe time :)

Ode to the fair!!

Every year, since I have known Ryan we ( us and his family) go to the fair. It is a family outing that I have come to love and look forward to every year. For those of you that don't know...I am a chicken!! I am scared of the dumbest things and am full of all the "what ifs" one could come up with. :) Well every year at the fair the rides seem to get scarier, or just bigger and better, but I am surrounded by my sis-n-laws and Ryan who love a scare. So every year they seem to convince me to get on the rides and not just the ones for my kiddos. LOL! This year there was this superman ride where 3 people lay on their stomachs on these platforms and then a bar snaps you in place on your back (kinda like being the middle in a sandwich) then they make you fly up,down and even sideways!! Well last year at the fair I weighed 35lbs more and I know I would have been as snug as a bug in a rug then, but this year (being 35lbs. less)I couldn't even feel the bar on my back!! There was a big gap and I was laying in between Ryan and his sister and it was tight on them!!! I was panicked ,freaked out....even started to cry before the ride had started. They kept telling me it would be OK but that wasn't even the worst of it! Once the ride had started all I could do was cry and scream. It was just such a scary thing to be flying in the air like....well....superman!! So I survived that and several other scary rides, again this year, and before we left I even rode the superman ride again and that time loved every second of it!! I go through this every year, one would think that I would remember how much fun I ended up having the year before and be fine but nope not me. Oh well :) I was also very proud of the food choices I made at the fair this year ; ) I love the fair!!!

getting the hang of this!

Well, I think I still need some help with this page. How do I add contacts links on here so I can go straight to there page? How do I make my page not ugly?? LOL! Stuff like that. But here is I guess my first blog!

Ryan and I met when we were 18, we dated for 8 months and were engaged for 3 of that. I know what your thinking but we both knew it was right. We were married on May 19,2001 and he turned 19 on our honeymoon :) I remember waking up and making him breakfast thinking I am married and it is my hubbys b-day and HOLY CRAP! he is only 19!! LOL! We have both had a lot of growing up to do..still do but we are doing it together .

when I married Ryan not only did I get my one and only but I got this whole new family that was unlike any family I had ever met! From the first time Ryan brougt me home to meet them I have felt loved and a part of them. I have often found myself wishing that my family was more like his. I know that no matter what happens they are here for me to support and love All of them..Grandparents, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles, sis and bro -in laws! I am so blessed to have them all! Now we are a very close family but I am not saying there isnt ever any drama :) But thats life!

Ryan and I have also been blessed with our 2 children. We have not been able to concieve but that hasnt mattered so much because of the 2 monkeys that fell right into our laps! We have brooklyn. We got her when she was 2 and she will be 4 in January. She had a rough start but is doing great now! She is a girly girl, love s having her hair done and dressing cute. She is curious about everything and has a big open heart. She definately makes us feel loved. Then there is Austin. We have had him since he was born. He is 2 and will be 3 in March. He is as wild and crazy as they come! He has so much energy that it makes my head spin sometimes. He is adventurous and not scared of anything. He just like his sister has a big heart and is very loveable.

Well if I keep going I may not have anything to blog about ever again LOL!! sorry about how long this one is :)
